I stayed just for one night, but everyone else who stays there works on a nearby farm to get their second year working holiday visa. From the first minute, everyone was friendly and kind. Rebecca and Jim are very helpful and the place is in a very central location. The backpackers there have definitely developed a community and made me feel welcome even though I was just there for the night. Would definitely recommend if you're in Cardwell!
