Great history a real find!
Actually this was a really educational stop. Had so many items that helped the kids understand our history.
This is an absolutely wonderful place to stop for a little while and learn about the history of Northern Queensland. The interactive displays and information were excellent. Thank you to Cardwell for restoring this building and creating such a pleasant surprise on the side of the highway. This is a gem that shouldnt be missed.
If you are remotely interested in history of the far north particularly infrastructure, this place is a gold mine. Some neat set-ups with beautiful old equipment. Well worth the visit when driving through Cardwell. The folks who run this place should be proud!
