Really nice caravan park !
My boyfriend and I stayed at Cardwell Van Park end of July after a really disgusting and racist encounter at another camp grounds in the area and I can not recommend this place highly enough! Colin, the owner greets you with a very warm and friendly welcome (even after hours!). He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and if we ever returned to Cardwell this is were we would be staying (and recommending). Yes, it is a little pricier than some others but it is 100% worth the service. Money well spent. Bathrooms and kitchen area were all kept tidy too. Thank you, Colin! You guys truly know how to do the "small family business" thing well!!
We stay there on our way up north ... The owner was just lovely and helpful ..:) we got a cheap cabin for the night it was clean and roomy outstanding ...we would stay there again no problems . it is a short walk to the restaurant and pubs for dinner food was great ..so to everyone who works at the caravan park . job well done :)
Luv this places. We come back every time we head north via the east coast. Sites nice size. Staff wonderful. Amenities spotlessly clean and fresh . Happy friendly environment to visit or holiday.
Very good park with welcoming and accommodating host, really went out of his way to make all feel welcome. Offering expert assistance in backing vans in. Very clean amenities. In fact stay so good we have extended for another two nights bring total up to six nights
